Sign-in Messages
Draft for legal review · updated 23 September 2026 · not yet effective
Phone sign-in uses a one-time SMS code. Email sign-in is also available and does not require SMS. We send an SMS code when a sign-in or linking request is made for a phone number; we do not currently send marketing SMS. If you receive a code you did not request, do not share it. Contact info@24frames.co if it keeps happening.
Codes are dispatched through our own gateway phones using Botswana SIMs and the recipient's mobile network. The exact sending operator should be verified before publication. We do not charge for a code, but your mobile operator may charge normal messaging or roaming fees. A code expires after five minutes and can be limited by attempts or rate limits.
The gateway handles the readable message only to deliver it. The message body is encrypted while queued and scrubbed after the sending job finishes; the phone number and delivery status may remain in job records. The intended 30-day cleanup for those records is not yet enforced. Verification challenges are stored as code hashes and removed by routine maintenance after expiry. Do not email us your code or password.
To request account deletion, use Settings in the app or email info@24frames.co. A request is not completed erasure. See Privacy Policy and Data Retention.
